Kari Perkins is an award winning costume designer with over 25 years of professional design experience. She began sewing her own clothes at the age of twelve, creating her own distinctive 70's wardrobe. Since that time, Kari has designed costumes for over 15 feature films and numerous theatre and dance productions presented throughout the U.S. and abroad. Winona Ryder, Keanu Reeves, Matthew McConaghey, Renee Zellweger, Bruce Willis, Rose McGowan, Robert Downey Jr., Patricia Arquette, Parker Posey and Ethan Hawke have all worn her costume designs

Kari discovered a natural talent for her work after many years of costuming for film, theater and dance.  The unique challenges presented by each production created a perfect platform for her transition into gown design and construction. 

Kari exclusively handcrafts each gown with meticulous precision. "I love making gowns!  Watching each gown unfold through the creative process is always an amazing experience. This is my art."
